Composites at the AIA Convention
If you’re going to the AIA Convention in Atlanta next week, be sure to visit the Composites Pavilion.
Organized by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA), it’s a sizable section on the convention’s exhibition floor, where over twenty composites manufacturers and fabricators of architectural composites are exhibiting. You can meet them, talk to them, see their work, and get your composites questions answered.
Justin Diles’ Plastic Stereotomy, featured here recently, will be on exhibit in the Composites Pavilion, as well. The winner of the 2015 TexFab Competition, it has been built full scale and will be there to see and touch.
The pavilion is easy to find: it’s halfway between the two main entrances to the show floor, one row in from the front. Here’s a link to the exhibit hall map.
Here’s a list of the composites exhibitors:
Advanced Architectural Products, LLC.
International Marble Industries, Inc.
International Cast Polymer Alliance
Kreysler and Associates
Technical Fibre Products
